Christina is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate who provides trauma-informed, person-centered care to students navigating emotional distress, life transitions, and identity exploration. Her work emphasizes compassion and collaboration, recognizing the impact of personal history, culture, and systems of power on wellbeing. She helps students clarify their values and build psychological flexibility to support safety, agency, and meaningful engagement in their lives.

Christina has a background in supporting individuals impacted by trauma, substance use, and intimate partner violence. Her integrative approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Polyvagal Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing her to attend to both emotional and physiological experiences of distress while fostering insight, regulation, and connection.

Christina’s work is deeply informed by trainings in Afrocentric, queer-affirming, and agriculture informed therapeutic frameworks, which emphasize the importance of cultural identity, community, and lived experience in healing. She strives to create an affirming space where students can explore intersecting identities, challenge internalized narratives, and reconnect with sources of strength.

Christina received a BSc in Psychology & a MSc in Experimental Psychology from Memorial University and a MEd in Counselling from Acadia University.
